I heart Brene Brown.
LOVE her. She is my inspiration, my hero. I have watched her TedTalks, read her books, followed her blogs, etc. She speaks to my soul. Many months ago I did what I encourage anyone to do, I reached out. I was in a career rut, searching for motivation… searching for passion. A former teammate and amazing entrepreneurial friend of mine responded to my ‘pleaaaaaaaase help me help myself’ email with the link to Brene’s TedTalk (Thank you Gwen @ startsomethingbig.tv- check her out). I know I am sounding dramatic, but it changed my world. If you haven’t heard of her, watched the videos or read her books, I encourage you to do so. If she isn’t your ‘thang’, no problem. But, if you haven’t found your ‘thang’… do it. Everyone needs a hero.
